1. Who operates KEXAR
KEXAR is a Prism Digital Ventures brand. References to “KEXAR,” “we,” “us,” or “our” in this policy refer to Prism Digital Ventures as the operator of the KEXAR website and products.
2. Website information
This website does not currently provide visitor accounts, accept payments, or use advertising trackers. Our hosting and security providers may process standard technical request information needed to deliver and protect the site, such as IP address, browser type, timestamps, requested pages, and security signals.
If we later add forms, analytics, accounts, or payment functions, this policy will be updated before those features are used.
3. Google user data accessed by the Contractor Project System
The KEXAR Contractor Project System is a Google Sheets add-on that reads information from the active KEXAR project spreadsheet and creates project documents at the user’s direction.
| Access | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Active KEXAR spreadsheet | Read project, scope, cost, schedule, change, billing, and client information needed for the user-selected document. |
| Google Docs created by KEXAR | Create and format proposals, agreement drafts, change orders, invoices, statements, reports, and closeout summaries. |
| KEXAR-created Drive files and folders | Save the user’s generated documents and PDFs in the user’s Google Drive. |
| Google Drive export service | Convert KEXAR-created Google Docs to PDF when requested. |
| Basic Google account identity presented during authorization | Support Google’s authorization flow. The current release does not build a separate KEXAR customer database from this information. |
KEXAR uses the drive.file permission for files it creates or the user opens with the app. It does not request permission to browse every file in the user’s Google Drive.
4. How Google user data is used
KEXAR uses spreadsheet values only to perform the setup, readiness check, document-generation, file-export, and document-log actions initiated by the user. The information is used to compose, format, save, and record the requested outputs in the user’s Google account.
KEXAR does not use Google user data for advertising, behavioral profiling, or unrelated purposes.
5. Storage, sharing, and transfers
The current release does not transmit project information to a KEXAR-owned server or database. Project data and generated files remain within the user’s Google account and Google’s services.
KEXAR does not sell Google user data. KEXAR does not share Google user data with advertisers or data brokers. If a future product version introduces an external processor, storage service, analytics service, or artificial-intelligence feature, the product disclosures and this policy will be updated before that feature is released.
Google API Limited Use
KEXAR’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
6. Retention and deletion
KEXAR stores setup status and the identifier of the KEXAR-created output folder as document properties associated with the active spreadsheet. The spreadsheet, generated documents, PDFs, and folders remain under the user’s control in Google Drive.
Users may delete those files at any time. Uninstalling the add-on or revoking its Google access stops future KEXAR access but does not automatically delete files the user has chosen to keep.
7. Security and user choices
KEXAR uses Google Apps Script and Google APIs and requests permissions intended for its stated functions. No storage or transmission method is completely secure; users should protect their Google accounts and avoid placing unnecessary sensitive information in project files.
- Decline authorization and do not use the add-on.
- Revoke KEXAR’s access from the Google Account permissions page.
- Uninstall the add-on.
- Delete KEXAR-created files from Google Drive.
- Contact us with a privacy question or request.
KEXAR is a business productivity brand and is not directed to children.
8. Changes and contact
We may update this policy when products, law, or our practices change. The effective date at the top identifies the current version. Material changes will be disclosed through an appropriate website or product notice.
Privacy questions may be sent to contact@makersignal.net. Please use “KEXAR Privacy” in the subject line and do not include client project details unless they are necessary to explain the request.
